About Retroboard
Retros should make teams better — not be another meeting to survive.
Retroboard started as a side project born from a simple frustration: retrospective tools were either clunky, expensive, or turned a team conversation into form-filling. We wanted something fast, beautiful and genuinely realtime — the kind of tool a team opens and just starts talking.
Since 2020, teams around the world have run thousands of retrospectives, post-mortems and team health checks on Retroboard. Every card, vote and comment appears for the whole team the instant it happens; blind writing and presentation mode keep the conversation honest and focused; and boards are fully customizable, exportable, and shareable with a single link.
And because a retro is only as good as what happens after it, Retroboard follows through: action items get owners in the room, summaries land in email and Slack, open items carry into the next retro, and analytics show whether it’s all actually working.
What we believe
- The conversation is the product. The tool should get out of the way.
- Realtime or it didn’t happen. Waiting for a page refresh kills momentum.
- The retro isn’t over when the meeting ends. Follow-through is the whole point.
